    Can’t live without my sodium butyrate!!

    No, I don’t know the makers of the drug or get paid to advertise it, but I DO highly recommend it to my family, friends and patients all the time! Sodium butyrate was a complete game changer for me when my myalgic Encephalomyelitis specialist started me on it in Feb 2020 short term for the SIBO and long term for all the amazing benefits of the drug (primarily the metabolomics, GI, and energy benefits). I have tried to cut my dosage back (I’m at maximum therapeutic dosage) numerous times to save on cost (supplements, especially as many as she has me on, are not inexpensive!) since I go through 2 bottles/month of the sodium butyrate. But I have been unsuccessful because every time I decrease by just one capsule, my energy systems crash within days and my cognitive status declines (thinking, processing, remembering, focusing, etc). THAT is how amazing this drug is! It helps my brain the most out of all the supplements I take (and rx too!). I’m sure it helps my gut regulate bacteria to help clear the brain, but I just know it’s been a wonder drug for me. The epigenetic effects of Butyrate… I don’t know how this capsule has been kept a secret for so long! It is good for all systems of the body including those who have cancer or would like to prevent cancer! Sorry for such a long review, but want others to know how important this supplement is to your health and future! :-)

    No more thrush, no more acne!

    My dermatologist recommended I take this. he told me he has studied a lot about butyrate and was so convinced by how beneficial it is, that he wanted me to add it to my acne regimen. He told me to start with one a day with meals, and build up to a max of 6 a day. I had (had!!! :) a severe case of cystic acne...hormonal and genetic...after months of antibiotic treatment, I had recurring thrush (yeast) in my mouth. I am now off antibiotics, and have not had a laser treatment in 6 months. I have not had a yeast recurrence since starting this product. I also have celiac disease so my gut is very sensitive. From my research I can see why he wanted me to take it. It is good for someone who has been on a lot of antibiotics, since it is a prebiotic. He told me the short chain fatty acids would help unclog my pores and help manage the sebum issues that contribute to the acne. My skin is doing very well, however I believe the primary reason is that I have hormonal acne and part of my acne treatment involved going on hormonal birth control to manage it. I was supposed to start accutane, but I am doing so well I feel like I will just keep taking this supplement along with my topical prescriptions and the birth control. I am just thrilled to be off antibiotics, off the anti-yeast medications, and not having to go in for laser treatments every 4 weeks! I am happy with the affordable price on Amazon. It is much more expensive buying direct, I was charged $11 shipping buying it direct from bodybio site, bringing my total to about $70 for a bottle of 250 capsules. I compared the bottles and opened the capsules from each container, the one I purchased direct from bodybio and the one from amazon, and everything appears identical. I tasted the contents of each capsule. I was wondering why it is so much cheaper on amazon and wanted to make sure it was exactly the same product. From my non-clinical observations, they are exactly the same so I will be buying it on amazon from now on. The powder tasted awful,...salty actually...but I guess thats just how it tastes! bottom line, I will continue taking this product, it is beneficial for anyone with acne, anyone who has been on antibiotics, has gut issues or autoimmune disease such as celiac.

    What smell?

    I started this a couple of weeks ago as part of a treatment plan with several other medications so I can't exactly testify to this product's efficacy, although the regimen is definitely helping. I'm really writing this to say that I haven't smelled anything. I have a serious gag reflex, to the point it has been an issue in the past so I was really nervous at the reviews, but I haven't smelled a thing. To be clear, I have NOT tried to smell the smell, I really need to take these so I have avoided it by holding my breath while taking the capsules with a flavored water and its really no problem at all.     Blessed be the God of Heaven for this Product

    I can't even express in words the Gratitude I have for the God of Heaven and the creators of this product. I have suffered terribly from IBS-d or Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea to the Point of having to get up every morning and making a mad dash to bathroom and the thought of not getting there was truly nightmarish scenario. I went to every doctor ending up in a Digestive Health Centered that specialized in Digestive health issues they did fecal stool samples and blood work and even breath samples and after all that all they had to offer is a drug called Viberzi and while if did offer some relief of symptoms I often would have to cut the medication in half sometimes 3rd. because the Meds seemingly worked too well and made me Constipated very often. Well Miracles of all Miracles I finally Found Butyrate BioButyrate with calcium and Magnesium and My IBS is Cured rather Treated I take one pill in the Morning and One at Night before or after dinner and No More IBS-D Thank you Jesus. Update PS sometimes depending on what I eat two capsules both morning and night or a combination of two in the morning and one at night

    A Miracle supplement for Chronic Pancreatitis

    I give this product my strongest rating. It has given me back my life. I developed chronic pancreatitis more than 15 years ago from an severe accident that damaged my pancreas and resulted in calcification of the mid and tail section of my pancreas. As a result, I instantly developed diabetes and other gut symptoms including bloating, gas and, worst of all, chronic diarrhea. I suffered through this misery for about a decade without any relief. I tried prescription and over-the-counter enzymes, medications and various supplements, but my symptoms persisted. I work in a bio-medical research lab and was assigned to a gut-biome project that required me to read many dozens of research papers on the subject. The literature kept mentioning butyrate and its many benefits related to a healthy gut biome. On a whim, I ordered a bottle and started taking 2 capsules a day (One in the morning and another at bedtime). By the end of the first week my symptoms were completely gone. As a researcher I wanted to make sure the butyrate was responsible for my miraculous improvement so I discontinue the butyrate on three separate occasions just to see what happened. All three times my symptoms returned within 3 to 4 days. I have now been taking this product daily for over three years and remain completely symptom free. I don't intend to ever stop taking it again. Thanks to this product I am able to lead a completely normal and symptom free life. This product is my miracle supplement. I suggest you try it for pancreatitis or any other disorder of the gut.

    Takes a minute

    This works for me, it takes a while and there are some aches at first as the junctures close. Others report the same as I experienced and I stopped taking it till the aches stopped then re-started. This works best with Psyillium fiber supplements and the Bodybio Gut+. People take the Gut+ in the morning with fiber and water then 12 or so hours later take the cal/mag Butyrate. The aches went away for me as well as the noises bloating etc. It's working for me!
